Linadalen is an immersive installation at Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, where visitors step inside Amaldus Nielsen’s painting Linadalen near Mandal. In the museum’s S-Lab, sensors track audience movement, allowing both image and sound to respond in real time — turning the artwork into a living landscape that unfolds as you explore it. BRAAK created the full spatial sound design and technical implementation in Dolby Atmos and Unreal, building an interactive audio environment that reacts dynamically to the visitor’s presence. The result is a soundscape that extends Nielsen’s canvas into an experience — not only to be viewed, but to be entered and inhabited.
